Rife followed a family tradition by retiring from Caterpillar, a company where his father and grandfather also worked.His youngest son, Nate, currently continues the family’s legacy at Caterpillar.He was also a member of American Legion Post 417, enjoying camaraderie with his friends Mark and Ron.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry N.Rife. In addition to his wife, Margie, Rife is survived by his children, Jessica (Gregory Shipley) Rife, Clayton, Allison (Jeremy) myers, and Nathaniel; his mother, Diana Rife; and his sister, Nicole Shopshire.
A Celebration of Life
A service to celebrate Rife’s life will be held Saturday,February 7,at Grove City United Methodist Church (2650 Columbus Street,grove City,Ohio 43123). Friends and family are invited to gather beginning at 1:00 p.m.,with services starting at 2:00 p.m., followed by food and fellowship.
