Former violinist of the Crematorium group, writer and radio host Vadim Saralidze has died at the age of 62.

The death of the artist was reported on social networks by his daughter, without indicating the cause of death of her father.

Vadim Saralidze was a regular violinist of the Crematorium for two periods of time: from 1987 to 1988 and from 1992 to 1993.

In the most famous composition of the group “Garbage Wind” and in “Claustrophobia”, co-authored by Vadim, it is his violin that sounds.

Both of these famous tracks were included in the band’s cult album called Coma. The surname Saralidze was not indicated in the imprint of the album at the request of the musician himself.

It is reported that farewell to Vadim Saralidze will take place in Moscow in a loft on the territory of the former Kristall plant on Samokatnaya Street. It will start on June 4 at 15:00.
