Members of the public spotted two adult humpbacks in the same area over the next two days, although it was not confirmed if they were the same animals.
SeaWorld Foundation rescue boat captain Andrew Mulville captured the underwater footage on his day off after noticing the unusual milling behavior. CBS News notes that Mulville initially suspected the animals were merely resting on the surface before diving down with an underwater camera to investigate the interaction.
