Mumbai: Bollywood actress Rhea Sen participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Currently Jodo Yatra is continuing in Maharashtra. The actress joined Rahul for a padayatra at Patur in Akola district. They shared their pictures on social media.
The Congress Twitter page is also full of videos and pictures. The 41-year-old actress said that she is happy to be a part of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which unites the people of the country and that the Padayatra is a symbol of unity.
Rhea Sen is well known to Malayalis for the movie Ananthabhadram. Rhea played the role of Kalabhavan Mani’s sister Bhama. Rhea is also the youngest daughter of famous Bollywood actress Moon Moon Sen.
Last day, Shiv Sena MLA Aditya Thackeray was also part of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Farmer organizations also came in support of Rahul. Earlier, Bollywood actress Pooja Bhatt participated in the Jodo Yatra. Pooja Bhatt was a part of Padayatra in Telangana capital Hyderabad city. Pooja Bhatt is the daughter of Bollywood producer Mahesh Bhatt and sister of Alia Bhatt. Actress Poonam Kaur also participated in Bharat Jodo Yatra yesterday. Rahul Gandhi held Poonam Kaur’s hand during the trip and there was controversy.
Bharat Jodo Yatra started from Kanyakumari on 7th September and entered Maharashtra on 7th November. The padayatra covered 6 states and 30 districts in 70 days. Rahul and his team will enter Madhya Pradesh by November 20. After covering 3,570 km in 150 days and reaching Kashmir, Bharat Jodo Yatra will approach.
