A young ultra-Orthodox boy, 17, was injured this evening (Wednesday) on Yehezkel Kaufman Street in Jerusalem in his upper body. Emergency and rescue forces arrived at the scene and evacuated the boy to the hospital.
Police are investigating the case, a preliminary investigation reveals that it was a criminal incident.
Dr. Aryeh Yaffa, a volunteer doctor at the Rescue Union, said: “This is a boy who came to his house in moderate to severe condition. “With the help of other medics, I provided him with initial assistance and then he was evacuated in an intensive care unit to the surgery department at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, which I updated them by phone about the nature of his injuries.”

The Rescue Union said: “The Rescue Union’s medical teams provided first aid to a boy who was moderately to severely injured on Yehezkel Kaufman Street in Jerusalem.”
