We also visited the Izmail State Humanitarian University, where there is a bust-monument of Hristo Botev, we also laid flowers, Kirova also pointed out.

We visited the classrooms of the Bulgarian Sunday School. The halls are in the building of the university, but they are for Bulgarian Sunday school. There was a new hall, which has been equipped with the help of the Consul General of Bulgaria, with new computers, an interactive whiteboard and many educational materials. These are rooms where ethnic Bulgarians learn everything about Bulgaria – Bulgarian language, history, geography and traditions of Bulgaria, explained Rositsa Kirova.

In Izmail, a quarter of the population are Bulgarians, about 25% 26.2% Moldovans, Ukrainians and Russians about 20% each, there are Gagauz and 1% Gypsies.
