‘Malikappuram’ is the first big hit of Malayalam cinema in the new year. Directed by debutant Vishnu Sasisankar, the film stars Unni Mukundan as the hero. Telugu and Tamil versions of Malikappuram are about to release. The film will hit the screens in these languages from January 6.
The trailer of the Tamil version of the movie was released last day. Malikappuram is a film that tells the story of an eight-year-old girl named Kalyani and her superhero Ayyappan. The film is produced by Priya Venu and Neeta Pinto under the banners Kavya Film Company and An Mega Media.
Saiju Kurup, Indrans, Manoj K. Jayan, Ramesh Pisharati, Sampath Ram, Devananda and Sripad also appear in the lead roles in the film. Camera Vishnu Narayanan, Music, Background Music Ranjin Raj, Lyrics Santosh Verma, Art Direction Suresh Kollam, Makeup Jith Payyannoor, Costume Design Anil Chembur, Action Choreography Kanal Kannan, Production Controller Sanjay Patiyur, Chief Associate Director Regis Anthony , Creative Director Shamsu Seiba and Associate Director Jijo Jose are the other cast members. Malikappuram, which is slated to be a pan-Indian film, was shot in and around Sabarimala.
