Arulnidhi is acting in D Block directed by Vijay Kumar Rajendran. Let’s see how this movie that is currently playing in theaters.

When it comes to horror stories, the presentation of the story is more important than the story itself. At the same time, online should also be a little stressful. Tragically, de Bloc was not involved in any way.

There is a college in the dense forest of Velliangiri. Arulnidhi joins it as a first year student. There are already many mysterious murders going on there. College girls are not allowed to go out after six in the evening as they are said to kill the leopard. The screenplay tells the story of how the hero deals with the murders around the college to find out who is responsible for the murders.

If you read the above paragraph, the story may seem a little convincing. But when we come to know the reason for the murders in the story, we think ‘what a silly movie you have made’. Arulnidhi has been able to search and choose many good stories in her film career. I don’t know how director Vijay Kumar Rajendran managed to convince such a person by telling such a story.

It may be difficult for the fans to know whether a killed person was actually mauled by a leopard or there was some other cause of death, but it is not difficult for the forest department. But the story goes on saying that the series of murders were the result of a leopard.

As far as acting is concerned, no one can be faulted as they don’t have much scope to act. Arulnidhi fits in perfectly as a college student. Co-star Aditya Kadir makes you laugh at some places. The director of De Block also comes and goes as an actor. Actress Avantika Mishra has very few scenes. But Arul Avantika Jodi is good. The director bought the call sheets of many seniors like Karu Palaniappan, Ramesh Khanna, Thalivasal Vijay and put them unused.

Arvind Singh’s cinematography is reminiscent of some of the horror films released two decades ago. The lighting could have been updated a bit. We could not feel the horror and fear anywhere because of the music.

If the murder is found out, the college will have a bad name. But what it is is not clear until the end. The make-up for the mysterious person who comes and goes on screen could have been done a little more seriously. Let it go. Let D Block be a rite of passage in Arul Nidhi’s film career. Let’s see if the director will scare us next time. D bloke better luck next time.
