Next April 27th the “March for Life”, where women will demand from the 31 congresses to be renewed, on June 2, better conditions for maternity and favor the conditions to carry out a pregnancy.
“We march because we want better conditions, since 5 out of 10 women have to abandon their studies after becoming mothers. “That the first cause of employment discrimination for Mexican women is not motherhood,” said Paulina Mendieta, spokesperson for the march.

Likewise, Mendieta indicated that the demand will be for all those seeking a popularly elected position, which is why they will seek to get the candidates to sign and integrate the demands of women into their legislative agenda.
Also, Jahel Torres, spokesperson for the march, commented that the mobilization will be so that no pregnant Mexican woman lacks social, economic, labor support and a decent health system for herself and her child.

Meanwhile, the mobilization will start from the Monument to the Revolution and will reach the Congress of Mexico City, where they will demand that the deputies have a long-term vision, and guarantee a dignified pregnancy.
