Government ‌Commission ⁢Established to Address Education​ and Social Issues

A ⁣new‍ commission has ⁣been established by‍ the Moroccan government ​to address education and social challenges. The ⁢commission, chaired by Prime⁤ Minister Aziz Akhannouch, includes the Ministers of National Education, Preschool ⁣and Sports, Economic ‍Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, and Budget.

During a⁣ government majority meeting, Akhannouch emphasized⁢ the importance of returning teachers to⁤ the classroom to ‌fulfill their duties. ⁢He also affirmed the government’s openness to⁢ dialogue and ⁢promised‌ to review ​certain provisions of the civil servant status in‌ National ⁢Education.

The commission’s formation follows extensive consultations involving over 21,000 teachers,⁣ 33,000 students, and 20,000 ⁤families. These consultations resulted in the development of an education reform plan.

The government is also implementing​ various initiatives to strengthen the social state, including social protection, housing⁢ assistance, and direct social aid programs.

The ⁢Secretary General of⁤ the Istiqlal Party, Nizar Baraka, highlighted the government’s successful response to challenges and its​ focus​ on immediate and effective interventions. He​ emphasized‍ the importance of‍ implementing ⁤the direct aid program efficiently to reach⁢ those ⁣in need.

The Secretary ⁣General⁣ of‍ the‍ Authenticity‍ and Modernity Party (PAM), Abdellatif Ouahbi, ⁤called on​ teachers to engage in dialogue with the government and return to⁤ their classrooms. He praised the government’s efforts to reform the education system.

The government ‍majority⁤ has undertaken numerous reforms and​ must enhance its communication to inform the public about its ⁢initiatives.
