The Directorate in charge of communication of the Presidency of Faso launched, this Thursday, April 6, 2023, in Ouagadougou, a National Call Center (CNA) which aims to contribute effectively to the fight against terrorism.

The National Call Center (CNA) launched on April 6, 2023 has the mission in particular to receive and process any telephone call for the purpose of denouncing facts or acts falling within the framework of terrorism, organized crime and good governance as well as informing ex-combatants of armed terrorist groups about the mechanisms for laying down arms with a view to their social reintegration, explained Djourmité Nestor Noufé, director of communication for the Presidency of Faso.

“The opportunity is given once again to Burkinabè, whistleblowers, activists, opinion leaders, journalists and communicators, to all citizens who would like to participate in the fight against terrorism to use the national center of call by calling 199 free of charge, by writing a text or by sharing files by WhatsApp at (+226) 71 20 33 33 and +226 68 24 44 44”, he detailed.
