Several rallies are planned throughout France, including in Paris, at the call of national retiree organizations.

Although the Ministry of the Economy announced in September that basic retirement pensions should be increased by 5.2% on January 1, 2024, the unions are demanding more. Together this Tuesday, they want a 10% revaluation of all pensions, estimating that retirees had lost 9.6% of purchasing power since 2017. In addition, they launched an online petition on change.org in which they repeat their wish to obtain an immediate 10% increase in their pensions.
Several mobilizations are being organized today throughout France.
