There is currently calm in the German Bundestag, there are no sessions for weeks. But when these end on November 6th and the plenum meets again, the situation for the German left will be even more unpleasant than it already is. There is only one topic among the comrades anyway: the departure of Sahra Wagenknecht and nine other members of the Bundestag from the party. This happened on Monday, and now the new association “Alliance Sahra Wagenknecht” is preparing to found a new left-wing party. According to an initial survey – Insa for Bild – the party currently has twelve percent approval.
