If you want to discover why more than 700 companies have already chosen the Canary Islands as a center of operations and expansions, from Diari de Girona, next to Proexca, we invite you to a working breakfast that will take place next 26 October at the Palau de Congressos Auditorium in Girona. The conference, led by investment and finance journalist Susana Criado, is set to discover why the Canary Islands are the ideal destination for doing business in Spain and Europe. And the fact is that the Islands, in addition to being one of the international destinations chosen by tourists and digital nomads for its climate, also stands out for being an ecosystem full of opportunities for those companies with activities focused on innovation.
The Canary Islands offer all the key assets that any company needs to grow, highlighting the network of qualified talent, pioneering innovation centers on an international scale, first-class connectivity and a financing scheme with differential advantages aimed at fostering innovation.
Agenda of the day
The event, which will start at 9.30 am, will bring together nearly 100 people from Girona’s business fabric to learn about the advantages of the Canary Islands as an investment destination and for the development of commercial synergies. Josep Callol, director of Diari de Girona, and Dácil Domínguez, managing director of Proexca, will be in charge of welcoming all the guests.
During the meeting, a panel of experts will be organized where different professional profiles will discuss the diversification of the economy and the emergence of new expanding sectors such as ICT, outsourcing and shared services. Likewise, the role of sustainable investments, the business opportunities of the Canary Islands for the business fabric and the key factors of territorial expansion for local companies will be highlighted. Attendees will be able to see first-hand some success stories from companies in Girona.
Circuit of events
In addition to this event organized in Girona, Canary Islands Hub, together with other heads of Prensa Ibérica, will tour in 2023 different cities of the Spanish geography with a tour of events with the aim of finding out “why companies choose the Canaries to grow up?”. The following meetings will be: Valencia and Madrid.
