A boat caught fire in the middle of the sea due to mechanical failure in the Philippines.
The ferry, carrying 48 passengers and 34 crew members, was heading to a port south of Manila. Then the engine of the boat caught fire and the fire spread throughout the boat.
Many jumped into the sea to escape. On information, the officials rushed to the spot and rescued the people in the boat using another boat and took them to the shore. The Coast Guard rescued 73 people from the boat safely.
