/ The Iraqi Olympic team tied with the Al-Shorta Club team in a friendly score of 1-1. The match comes within the framework of the Olympic team’s preparations for the Asian qualifiers for Paris, and the Al-Shorta team for the league and cup competitions.
The match took place today, Sunday, at Port Olympic Stadium at nine-thirty at night.
The Olympic team will be camping in Basra Governorate from March 16 to March 27, in preparation for the Asian qualifying finals for the Paris 2024 Olympics, which will be held in mid-April in the State of Qatar.
The draw placed the Iraqi Olympic team under 23 years in the third group, along with Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Tajikistan.
