Russian cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin will go to the ISS on February 22 as part of the crew of the American spacecraft Crew Dragon of SpaceX. This was reported by the press service of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

The mission crew also includes three NASA astronauts – Matthew Dominick, Michael Barratt and Jennette Epps. The crewed Crew Dragon will launch from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The crew will spend about six months at the station. The NASA statement notes that the launch will be carried out using a SpaceX Falcon-9 launch vehicle.

Earlier, NASA reported that Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov was appointed to the crew of the US manned spacecraft Crew Dragon. In August, it will travel to the ISS as part of the SpaceX Crew-9 mission. Cross flights of three Russian cosmonauts on the Crew Dragon manned spacecraft and three US astronauts on the Russian Soyuz MS manned spacecraft are being implemented within the framework of an agreement between NASA and Roscosmos, signed in July 2022.
