Today, Sunday, the North Gas women’s team lost its second match against Al-Ahly of Bahrain in the basketball competitions of the Fifth Arab Games for Women.
The club’s president, Raya Jalal, told the (INA): “Our Al-Salawi women’s team lost to Al-Ahly of Bahrain with a score of 88-83 in its second match in the Arab Women’s Club Games,” stressing that “the match was exciting until the last seconds, which witnessed progress.” It was clear to our team for most of the match.”
Jalal added, “This is our team’s first participation at the Arab level, and we hope through the tournament to benefit from the level of Arab teams that have a long history in the game and have participated in several previous competitions,” pointing out that “there is noticeable progress in the team’s level from one match to another.”
