A shooting in Washington state leaves at least three dead

At least three people have died this Tuesday after registering a new shooting in a food store near a gas station in Yakimain the US state of Washington, after several incidents have left up to 19 deaths in the state of California in just 44 hours.

As reported by the Yakima Police Chief, Matt Murraythe suspect is a 21-year-old resident who stopped at a gas station and unsuccessfully tried to enter, then ran across the street and shot three people in a grocery store.

“There was no apparent conflict between the parties – the man just walked in and started shooting”the Yakima Police Chief has detailed, adding that the investigation to clarify what happened continues, as reported by CNN.

The suspect, identified as Jarid HaddockHe fled after shooting at a car — possibly gray or silver Chrysler 200 model — and stealing it. The Police, in an attempt to request citizen collaboration, has published an image of the suspect recorded through a security camera.

The death of these three people occurs in the context of the successive shootings that have been recorded in the state of California since Sunday, which have resulted in 19 deaths. The latest have occurred in the coastal city of Half Moon Bayleaving a balance of seven dead.

In addition, eleven people died in a shooting that occurred on Sunday at the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations in a dance hall in the city of Monterey Park, east of Los Angeles. To this is added a deceased during another shooting in Oakland, California.
