A slight decrease in the unemployment rate in November: 4.1% of the workforce which is 181.1 thousand compared to 4.3% which is 186.4 thousand in October. However, there was an increase in the number of those who were temporarily absent from their jobs and those who left the workforce because they were fired and have not yet found a job. The number of those who were temporarily absent increased to 17.8 thousand in November compared to 11.4 thousand in October, and the number of those who have not yet returned to work increased by 38.6 thousand in November compared to 30.7 thousand in October.
