In the Hall of Chamber and Organ Music (Kirch) of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev as part of XVI International Music Festival named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli took place concert of the violin ensemble “Detachereports Day.Az.

Detache (French détaché, from détacher – to separate) is a type of performance technique on bowed string instruments (violin, cello, etc.). Unlike the legato technique, where several notes are played with one movement of the bow along the string, the performer plays each note with a separate movement of the bow, without leaving the string, changing its direction (détacher). Detache in music is a special style of performance, which is characterized by emotionality, expressiveness and individuality.

A rich program was presented under the leadership of the People’s Artist Zahra Guliyeva accompanied by an accompanist Sabina Muradova.

The program included compositions from the opera “Koroglu” by U. Hajibeyli, “In the Style of Bach” by A. Dadashev, “Dedication” by F. Badalbeyli, “Shusha” by A. Ibragimov-Bramoh, “Lullaby” by G. Garayev and “Dance” from ballet “The Path of Thunder”, I. Yokhov “In the Style of Vivaldi”, J. S. Bach “Ave Maria”, J. Brahms “Hungarian Dance”, N. Hess “Piece”, K. Bouma “Perpetual Motion”, N. Rubinstein’s “Spinning Wheel”, T. Guliyev’s “Waltz of Love” and D. Shostakovich’s “Waltz”.

Let us remind you that from September 18 to 28, on the occasion of National Music Day, the XVI International Music Festival named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, is being held. Within the framework of the festival, concerts, performances, exhibitions, scientific conferences and master classes are held, films are presented in Baku, Shusha, Ganja, Lankaran, Gabala, Nakhchivan and Shamkir, and various events are organized in cultural centers operating in foreign countries.
