The WhatsApp messenger (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) has added a new feature for owners of iOS devices, thanks to which users will be able to edit stickers. The functionality is only available on iOS 17 and higher.

To create a sticker, you need to open the WhatsApp menu, then select “Create sticker” and a picture from the gallery. Then you can cut out part of the image, add something to it, or add text. You can mix and match stickers, draw on top of them, and add text or other images to them. You can also edit existing stickers – to do this, you need to find the desired sticker and hold your finger on it until the “Edit sticker” button appears.

Previously, WhatsApp introduced the ability to pin messages. The messenger is also testing a new feature, thanks to which iOS smartphone users will be able to send photos and videos without compression.
