The Seventy Hospital for Maternity and Childhood in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, witnessed the birth of four female twins, a woman in her thirties, by Caesarean section.

Yesterday, Monday, medical sources reported that a Yemeni woman gave birth to quadruplets, females, in the Seventy Maternity and Childhood Hospital in Sana’a, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.

Dr. Fayza Moqbel, who oversaw the delivery, said that the mother, who is in her thirties, is in good health. She also confirmed that the condition of the quadruplets is stable.

The Houthi-controlled Yemeni News Agency, quoting Dr. Fayza, stated that this is the second birth of the mother, Yasmine Al-Zala’i, from Taiz Governorate, who had previously given birth to triplets, females, seven years ago.

She pointed out that the mother arrived at the hospital in a difficult birth in the seventh month, which necessitated a successful caesarean section.

In turn, the director of the hospital, Dr. Magda Al-Khatib, explained that the birth of the four twins is the first in the hospital, praising the medical team that performed the caesarean section.
