AADE Simplifies Property Declarations for Small Olive Groves

Just 19,819 agricultural producers received basic income support payments totaling 7,806,768.22 euros on October 31, 2026, marking a 97.8% drop in distributed funds compared to the same period in 2025, according to data published by Patris. The initial round covered only those who submitted their Single Application Form (EAE 2026) by September 25, 2026.

Technical Adjustments for Small Olive Groves

The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) adapted the myAGRO platform to simplify property declarations for fragmented holdings. For properties with an area of up to 10 stremmas in areas where the Land Registry operates, producers may declare solely the Property Identification Number (ATAK) instead of the National Cadastre Code (KAEK). This rule applies to both owned and leased ακίνητα, provided the 10-stremma ceiling refers to the entire property rather than an individual producer’s share, as reported by Olivenews.

Where ownership data in property tax declarations (E9) falls short of Land Registry figures, AADE executes automated corrections without requiring producers to file amending property statements, provided the discrepancies involve properties not deleted since May 31, 2026. Applications finalize normally without stalling over these property mismatches.

In cases where a single agricultural parcel consists of multiple real estate units, specific digitization procedures apply. For example, a 45-stremma parcel comprising five separate assets allows 30 stremmas to be mapped separately using cadastral codes, while the remaining 15 stremmas use property identification numbers, provided the underlying areas remain contiguous.

Set Final Application Deadline for November

Following a decision by AADE Governor George Pitsilis, the final cut-off date for submitting the 2026 Single Application Form is Tuesday, November 10, 2026. Data from the Ministry of Rural Development and Food and AADE recorded 476,852 total authorizations by October 31, 2026, consisting of 233,763 definitive and 174,422 provisional declarations.

Agricultural declaration centers (KYD) on Crete reported heavy congestion, with applicants queuing from early morning hours amid administrative friction. Regional representatives noted that roughly one-third of nationwide declarations reached finalization, leaving 150,000 to 200,000 producers who had not yet initiated the filing process.

Georgios Perogiannakis, president of the Community and the Agricultural Cooperative of Emparos, met with the Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food, Giannis Andrianos, at the Ministry to discuss pressing industry bottlenecks. During these consultations, sector representatives pointed to administrative strains caused by complex regulations and technical obstacles inside the digital portals.

Exclude Producers from Payment Cycle

Out of 37,530 applications submitted by September 25, 2026, 4,883 producers possessing eligible land were excluded from the October 31 payment cycle. This exclusion pool comprised 3,060 farmers whose calculated aid dropped to zero following administrative reductions and penalties, 400 producers with frozen payments tied to entitlement disputes, and 1,423 whose total direct aid fell below the 150-euro minimum threshold.

Producers who submitted forms between September 26 and November 10, 2026, along with those whose initial filings lacked qualifying conditions or required corrections, are scheduled to receive their advance payments by November 30, 2026. Applicants with pasture allocation requests face a separate disbursement timeline within the first ten days of November, pending cross-referencing between myAGRO and the Land Registry. Adjustments for reduced payments from the October round will process during December disbursements after AADE issues targeted notifications to affected beneficiaries.
