It has been informed that all users of free electricity and subsidized electricity should link their electricity connection number- Aadhaar number. The government has announced that you can connect directly to the electricity board offices or online.

Also, for the convenience of the public, special counters have been set up from yesterday (November 28) to link electricity connection number-Aadhaar number at the electricity board divisional offices across Tamil Nadu. Power Minister Senthil Balaji said that the camp will be held till December 31.

Due to the continuous influx of people, they have requested to open more counters. In some places, there is only one counter, so there is a delay in linking the Aadhaar number. There is a long queue. People have demanded that the government should take this into consideration and open more counters. Also there is server problem. There was a technical glitch in the server as a large number of people were trying to connect Power Connection-Aadhaar at the same time. Due to this, people connecting online from home also faced difficulties. The work to increase the capacity of E-board server is in progress. Officials said that the problem will be solved soon.
