Millions of people around the world watched THE Apple event of the year on Tuesday evening: The technology giant presented its new iPhone 15.
But anyone who had hoped for groundbreaking innovations was disappointed. The biggest change probably concerns the charging port: From the latest generation, Apple no longer uses its own Lightning port. He had shaped the Apple universe for ten years.
Now the departure! Instead, the iPhone will come with a USB-C port, like the one many Android devices have.
35 euros for… an adapter?!

It is about one Adapter. On the one hand it comes with the new USB-C connector and on the other hand with the old Lightning port. So far, so unspectacular. The adapter at least allows you to continue using old accessories despite the new connection – such as chargers or cable headphones.

The high price, which is typical for Apple, is also curious: the tech giant charges 35 euros for it, in the USA it costs 29 dollars. For a product that would not have been necessary until the iPhone was unveiled on Tuesday.
