The German Pascal Ackermann (UAE) won the fourth stage of the Tour of Poland which linked Lesko to Sanok (179.4 km).

The former German champion was the strongest today in the final of this 179.4 kilometer 4th stage, where three climbs were listed: Czarna Gorna (km 48.5 / 2nd category): 3.9 km to 6.2%; Hotel Arlamow (km 103.7 / 2nd category): 1.7 km at 6.5%; and Leszczawa (km 146.7 / 2nd category): 4.6 km to 5. In the end, it wasn’t difficult enough to see a group of breakaways fighting for the win. Five men have yet tried: Kamil Malecki (Lotto Soudal), Rui Oliveira (UAE Team Emirates), Nans Peters (AG2R Citroën Team), Anders Skaarseth (UNO-X Pro Cycling Team) and Mads Würtz Schmidt (Israel-Premier Tech), but nothing to do. In a technical finale, Pascal Ackermann finally managed to get the upper hand over Jordi Meeus (BORA-Hansgrohe) and Jonathan Milan (Bahrain-Victorious) who completed the day’s podium.
Higuita falls but remains leader
