Action announcement by India’s National Security Adviser on terror financing

Ajit Doval, India’s National Security Adviser, has said that priority should be given to eliminating terrorism-related financing.

He said this while commenting on the first conference of National Security Advisers of India and Central Asian countries held today (6).

National Security Adviser Ajit Doval chaired the conference and representatives of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participated.

Financing of Terrorism

Addressing the conference, Ajit Doval said, “Today’s situation in Afghanistan is very important for all of us. Financing is the lifeblood of terrorism and combating the financing of terrorism should be a priority for all of us.

All members of the United Nations must refrain from providing aid to organizations involved in terrorist activities. Connectivity with Central Asia is important for India.

We are ready to create collaboration, investment and connectivity in this area. When expanding this linkage, it is important to ensure that efforts are consultative, transparent and participatory.
