It has been reported that actress Sruthi Hariharan has decided to file a statement in the police court that Arjun is innocent in the ongoing sex case against actor Arjun.
Arjun is a popular actor in Tamil, Kannada and Telugu languages. She faced sexual harassment through a film starring in Tamil and Kannada.
Arjun had acted in the film which was released in Kannada as Vismaya and in Tamil as Nipunan. He was paired with Sruthi Hariharan in the film. Actress Shruti Harikaran had lodged a complaint with the Bangalore Kappan Park Police in 2018 alleging that Arjun had sexually harassed her during the filming.
An actress’ sexual harassment complaint against Arjun, popularly known as Action King, has caused a stir on screen. In this case the other actors of the film, the actresses have been informed by the police investigating.
During the police investigation for the last 3 years, the police said that there was not enough evidence for the sexual allegations made by Surudi Hariharan against Arjun.
Police are preparing to file a final investigation report in this regard. Police have issued a notice to Sruthi Harikaran to appear for trial in the alleged sex case against Arjunan. They also said that they should appear for the hearing within three days of receiving the notice. However, the Kappan Park police have decided to file a statement in the court saying that Arjun is innocent in the sex case as there is not enough evidence so far for the Surudi Hariharan sex charge.
Following this, it seems that Arjun has been acquitted of the sex case.
