Actor Ilavarasu: Madras High Court, which has condemned the actor Prince in the South Indian Cinematographers Association malpractice case, has warned that he will face severe consequences.

In 2018, a complaint was lodged at the police station against former employees of the South Indian Film Cinematographers Association. The Madras High Court, after hearing the complaint filed at Thiagaraya Nagar police station, ordered the concerned Central Crime Branch police to expedite the investigation and submit a report within 4 months.

However, a contempt case was filed in the Madras High Court by its secretary and actor Prince on behalf of the Cinematographers Association for not completing the investigation within the specified time. The case came up for hearing before Justice Jagadish Chandra. At that time, the police side told the court that Prince appeared at the police station on December 12 and gave a statement and that there is surveillance camera evidence for that.

The prince’s side objected to this information of the police and said that he appeared at the police station on December 13 and gave a statement, and on the 12th mentioned by the police, he was shooting in Mamallapuram, and the CCTV evidence submitted by the police was fake. Thus, Justice Jagadish Chandra had ordered to examine the mobile location details and mobile calls of Prince to know where he was on the particular date.

Accordingly, this case came up for hearing today. Advocate Santosh, appearing for the police, filed the location details of Prince’s mobile phone. At the same time, it was said that he did not go to Mamallapuram as the shoot was canceled on December 12, and that he was in the South Indian Film Cinematographers Association.

At the same time, the judge, after investigating with the evidence whether the prince appeared for the trial or not, registered a censure against the prince. The judge said that there was evidence that he had appeared in court on December 12 and that he should not lie, saying that he had appeared at the police station on that date and apologized. The judge warned the prince that he would face consequences if he did not do so.
