Actor Vijay donated Rs 1 crore for the construction of South Indian Actors Sangha building.
The association had recently informed that around 40 crore rupees are needed to complete the construction of the Nidyar Sangha building. After that, actors, actresses etc. are providing the funds for it.
In that regard, while actor and minister Udhayanidhi Stalin and actor Kamal Haasan have given Rs 1 crore, actor Vijay has also given Rs 1 crore financial assistance and expressed his gratitude by issuing a statement.
