Admission of students in engineering colleges under the control of Anna University, Chennai is conducted through online consultation. Directorate of Technical Education has made arrangements to conduct 4 rounds of counseling for more than 1.5 lakh students who have applied. The special section counseling for admission to 431 engineering colleges across the state started last Saturday.
Following that, it was informed that the consultation for general category students will be held from 25th to 21st October. In this case, the general section consultation for engineering courses, which was scheduled to start tomorrow, has been postponed. Minister Ponmudi said that the consultation will start after the announcement of the NEET results and this decision has been taken in the interest of the students.
