Kochi: Aether Energy, India’s first intelligent electric scooter manufacturer, will be the digital partner of Kerala Blasters Football Club (KBFC) for the 2022-2023 season of the Indian Super League. This is the third consecutive year that Aether Energy has partnered with last season’s finalists, Kerala Blasters.

Speaking on the same, Aether Energy Chief Business Officer Ravneet Singh Phokela said, “We are delighted to continue our collaboration with KBFC for the third consecutive year. KBFC’s trajectory in this tournament parallels our journey in the electric vehicle (EV) business.

KBFC has established itself as one of the most passionate clubs in the country and a finalist for the 2021 season. Similarly, Ather Energy last year established a strong presence in Kerala and became the largest electric vehicle company in the market. Our association with KBFC has helped us increase brand awareness and familiarity in Kerala and across the country as we continue to expand our presence. We hope that through this partnership we will be able to showcase our scooters to a wider audience and accelerate the adoption of EVs across the country,” he added.

Nikhil Bharadwaj, Director, Kerala Blasters FC said, “We are very pleased to extend our partnership with Aether. They are at the forefront of India’s transition to electric vehicles. Nikhil Bhardwaj said the club hopes to help the brand continue this transformation and raise awareness of sustainable development.

Kerala was one of the first markets in India to adopt electric vehicles and is also the market with the largest number of scooters sold in India. Adoption of electric vehicles continues to be at an all-time high. With experience centers in 9 major locations like Kochi, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Kannur, Palakkad, Thrissur, Kollam, Malappuram and Tirur, Aether has sold more than five thousand vehicles and is now the leading electric vehicle brand in Kerala.

The company has also installed more than 45 AetherGrid fast charging points, speeding up the infrastructure for electric vehicles. Aether Energy also plans to expand its presence to more cities in Kerala by the end of the year. The number of test ride requests for the Aether 450 X Gen 3 model has increased exponentially across the state in recent months. This partnership will further increase brand awareness among football enthusiasts in Kerala and across the country.
