After 18 long years, superhit director Bala and actor Surya are reuniting. The shooting of the untitled film has started in Kanyakumari. Malayalee actress Mamitha Baiju is also playing an important role in the film.

The film stars Bollywood actress Kriti Shetty in the lead role. Information about the other actors has not been released. The film is being produced by Surya and Jyothika under the banner of 2D Entertainment. The music of the film is composed by GV Prakash. The camera is Balasubramaniam. Satish Surya is the editor. V Mayapandi is the art director. This will be Surya’s 41st film with Bala. After Nanda and Pitamakan, Bala and Surya will be teaming up again.
This is Mamita’s first Tamil film with Surya. Mamita’s latest release is Super Saranya, which has garnered attention through Operation Java and Kho Kho. Sona’s character in the film was well received.
