Al-Marsad newspaper: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health called for the closure of the clinic of the popular healer Jassem Bahman, after 35 years of working in it.
Appeal to the government
Bahman appeared in a circulating video, appealing to the Kuwaiti leadership to intervene not to close his clinic, stressing that he has treated people for free for 35 years.
Bahman said in the circulating video: His Highness, the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, His Excellency the ministers, members of the National Assembly, especially the Minister of Health, I saw this video. It is not a zakat house or a charitable committee. This is the place where Jassim Bahman treats people from Sunday to Thursday from 30 to 30 55 people a day.
Free treatment
He continued: Since 1984, I have been treating people for free, and this house is rent. I appeal to the government and the people, Jassim Bahman. What do you want from you, what do you give us?
He added: “You see the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, complaining about the fact that I have to intoxicate the clinic, and this is not a clinic. This is a diwaniya in my house, and my name is a folk healer, meaning I do not specialize in medicine or an assistant doctor.”
