National coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg reacted to the later dismissal of the Bayern soccer players and nominated a trio for the World Cup preparations.
Janina Minge from SC Freiburg, Carlotta Wamser from Eintracht Frankfurt and Melissa Kössler from TSG Hoffenheim have been appointed to the course from June 20th to 28th in Herzogenaurach, as the DFB announced.
“We decided to nominate three players for the first course in order to be able to fall back on a larger pool of players,” said Voss-Tecklenburg. “Because in the first few days we are missing five players from FC Bayern Munich.” In addition, one wants to take into account the stress on the players of Champions League finalist VfL Wolfsburg.
