Most of the public knew the story of the musician, who was an orphan of a mother and lost his father at a young age, and the article moved many.

The exciting story behind the song – Shimon Buskila has one sister from his father’s second marriage, but the two were not in contact for more than 20 years until they recently decided to renew the relationship. Shimon was the only son of his parents, his mother died when he was only 8 years old. A few years after her death, his father remarried and had another daughter – Anat, but after a few years they divorced.

After the divorce, Shimon and Anat did not keep in touch. When Shimon was 32 years old his father passed away, he called his sister Anat to tell her about the bitter news and asked her to come to the funeral and shiva. Anat said she wouldn’t be able to come, Shimon was hurt and since then the two have been completely disconnected for 20 years.

Over the years, Anat tried to contact Shimon several times, but he could not forgive her for not coming to their father’s funeral. In recent years, Shimon felt regret that they did not keep in touch and that he did not grow up with his sister. He decided to forgive, get back in touch and write a poem in Moroccan dedicated to his sister that calls her to come back to him and never leaves a dry eye.
