Forced Displacement‍ of ⁢Armenians in Artsakh

The ‍forceful displacement of Armenians from Artsakh has been highlighted by Tigran‌ Abrahamyan, faction secretary of⁣ the National Assembly’s “Hon. I have” group. He estimates that ⁣approximately 150,000 Armenians were displaced before ‌the 44-day war in ⁢2020. He views this issue⁣ as both a political and social problem.

The forced deportation of Artsakh ‍residents‍ began during the 44-day war, from the regions of Hadrut,⁤ Shushi, Martakert, and⁣ later from Kashatagh, Shahumyan (Karvachar), and Akna, following the tripartite agreement of ‌November 9th. By September 2023, an‌ estimated 35-40 thousand people had already fled the⁣ region⁣ due to Azerbaijan’s aggressive policy.

Abrahamyan emphasizes that government ⁤programs must be implemented at 150 Hz,⁢ rather than the 105-110 Hz frequency⁢ that was forcibly abandoned in September-October 2023.
