After the completion of the European Cup, I will stay in Baku for training camps.
As Day.Az reports, participant of the European Cup in rhythmic gymnastics, athlete representing Montenegro Nina Dragovich told Trend about this on Friday.
“The feeling from the competition is good, it’s nice to perform. The first exercise didn’t quite work out, I was a little confused and worried, but in the second exercise I was able to pull myself together and completed the program well. I hope that at the European Cup I will show a higher result than at previous competitions. The atmosphere in the Arena I like gymnastics in Baku, there are always a lot of spectators in the stands, everyone applauds, regardless of which country the gymnast represents,” she noted.
Nina Dragovich emphasized that excellent conditions have been created for athletes at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.
“After the European Cup, I will stay in Baku for four to five days for training camps. There are good conditions here, there are many training grounds, high ceilings, there is a hall for choreography. I have already conducted training here, and they helped me work out the program, get used to gym, undergo acclimatization before the start,” added Grace.
It should be noted that the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup takes place on May 3-5 at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku. Representatives from 37 countries take part in the competition. Gymnasts perform in two age categories: seniors (individual program and group exercises) and juniors (individual program).
At the European Cup in the senior age category, Azerbaijan is represented by Zohra Agamirova and Kamilla Seyidzade in the individual grace program, as well as a team in group exercises, which included Gullyu Agalarzade, Kamilla Aliyeva, Elizaveta Luzan, Daria Sorokina, Lyaman Alimuradova and Zeinab Gummetova ; among the “juniors” are athletes Fidan Gurbanly, Ilakha Bakhadirova, Govhar Ibragimova and Shams Agaguseinova, performing in the individual program.
