Similarly, income from premiums reflects an increase of 1.7 million dollars in the period described.

The general manager of ISA also said that the issue of customer service has been prioritized in order to heal the debt that came from previous administrations, for which it was possible to recover 11 million dollars that were owed for agricultural insurance. .

In the same way, the procedures for the disbursement to affected producers have been expedited satisfactorily to a month and a half, two months and a maximum of three months.

Díaz Vargas added that the institution remains vigilant about climate change events together with MIDA and the Institute of Meteorology of Panama, in order to advise the national productive sector on investment risks.
