The executive committee meeting of the AIADMK party that was supposed to take place on April 7th at the party headquarters in Chennai has been cancelled abruptly. Edappadi Palaniswami, the newly appointed General Secretary of the party, had earlier announced the meeting, but he later cancelled the one specifically intended for the district secretaries. The notification conveyed that a new meeting will be called for the party’s executive committee members, including club secretaries, state officials, legislators, and others. The meeting will be held on April 7th at 12 noon at the MGR House on Avvai Shanmugam Road, Rayapetta, Chennai, under the leadership of Chairman Dr. A.Tamilmagan Hussain. Additionally, the consultative meeting among the head association secretaries and district association secretaries that was previously scheduled for April 7th has also been cancelled. The cancellation was attributed to unknown reasons.

Edappadi Palaniswami recently took charge as General Secretary of AIADMK. Edappadi Palaniswami, who took office as AIADMK General Secretary, had announced that the first meeting of AIADMK Executives and District Secretaries would be held on April 7 at the AIADMK Head Office in Chennai.
But Edappadi Palaniswami suddenly canceled this meeting of district secretaries. In the notification issued in this regard, the AIADMK Executive Committee meeting will be held on Friday 07.04.2023 at 12 noon, at the headquarters of Revolutionary Leader MGR House on Avvai Shanmugam Road, Rayapetta, Chennai, under the leadership of Chairman Dr. A.Tamilmagan Hussain. In this meeting, I request that all members of the party’s executive committee such as chief club secretaries, district club secretaries, other state club secretaries, party parliamentarians, legislative members, party executive committee members (women) should attend without fail.
He also said that the notification issued by the head association that the consultative meeting of the head association secretaries and district association secretaries will be held on 7.4.2023 is cancelled.
