CHENNAI: The Chief Electoral Officer Sathyaprada Saku has said that the letter was sent as per the documents provided by the Election Commission of India.
The Election Commission had invited the AIADMK to explain about the remote electronic voting machine designed by the Election Commission for migrant workers to vote. In the letter sent to AIADMK head office, party coordinator and co-coordinator were mentioned.
The AIADMK head office returned the letter stating that there was no one on the posts. The Election Commission has given an explanation regarding the letter addressed to the AIADMK head office as coordinator and co-coordinator.
In this regard, Chief Electoral Officer of Tamil Nadu Satyapratha Saku said that the letter was sent according to the documents given by the Election Commission of India.
