Assistance to African countries has been severely affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
The price of life-saving therapeutic foods for malnourished children has also risen. Various parties are currently donating to the 6 million refugees who fled Ukraine, from donations to Africa’s worst-affected countries.
As a result, UNICEF estimates that food prices will rise 16 percent in the next six months due to the Ukraine war and epidemics, and that 6 lakh children will lose treatment.
