In this case, Reuters media has reported that Air India will buy 500 new planes in a single order. The cost of these 500 new planes is said to be around $100 billion.

According to the information published by Reuters, Air India has placed an order for the purchase of 250 new Airbus aircraft and 220 Boeing aircraft.

According to this, Air India will buy 210 A320neos and 40 A350s from Airbus. Air India will also buy 190 737 MAX jets, 20 787s and 10 777Xs from Boeing.

It has been reported that an agreement has been signed between Air India and Airbus on February 10 for the purchase of new aircraft. Earlier on January 27, Boeing also accepted Air India’s order.

It is said that the official information about these two orders will be released soon. Both orders, if confirmed, would be the largest ever by a single airline, according to Reuters.
