Bharti Airtel has launched a new prepaid plan with a validity of 30 days at Rs 199 for customers who want a validity of one month. With this prepaid plan, customers are offered unlimited daily calls with a total of 3GB data. This is not the first time Airtel telco has launched a Rs 199 prepaid plan, earlier Airtel had offered a Rs 199 prepaid plan in 2021 before the recharge plans went up, but the validity was limited to 24 days.

Until 2021, Airtel offered its customers Rs 199 plan with 1 GB data per day. Later Airtel telecom company made some revisions to this plan. Also Airtel has started offering 1.5 GB data per day to its customers as Jio has provided 1.5 GB data per day to its customers to compete with Jio. However, now Airtel has re-launched its Rs 199 plan with a longer validity period but slightly reduced data limit.
Airtel Rs 199 plan:
The Airtel prepaid plan priced at Rs 199 offers a total of 300 SMS and unlimited calls with a validity of 30 days. Apart from that it also offers additional benefits of Airtel Thanks App and free Hello Tunes and Wink Music. Airtel will charge Rs 1 and Rs 1.5 plus GST per SMS after the daily limit of 300 SMS is exceeded. Similarly, if the total 3G data is used up, 50 paisa will be charged for the next 1 MB of data used. Also customers can send only 100 SMS per day even though they have 300 SMS for 30 days. Even though Airtel offers this plan with one month validity, the total 3GB data offered by this plan is not suitable for users who want daily high speed data. That’s why Airtel’s Rs 239 plan is useful for customers who want daily high-speed data. This plan offers 1GB data per day, unlimited calls along with 100 SMS per day, but this plan is available with 24 days validity.
