During his tenure, he was instrumental in increasing the number of users of Meta, WhatsApp and Instagram, bringing Meta’s services to people across India. Prior to joining Meta, Starr spent four years as the CEO of Hotstar, India’s popular video streaming platform.

Ajith, who has left Metta, is set to work with Snap, Metta’s direct industry competitor. He is expected to serve as the head of the APAC region at the company. It is noteworthy that the company’s social networking app called Snap Chat has gained a lot of popularity among the people and has also got more users.
