“Al-Dabaiba” receives the ambassadors of Iran and South Korea in Libya

The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, received the Iranian Ambassador to Libya, Ain Allah Suri, and the meeting was devoted to discussing aspects of cooperation between the two countries.

Al-Dabaiba expressed his “readiness to cooperate with Iran in various fields and coordinate to convene the Libyan-Iranian Supreme Committee.”

Al-Dabaiba praised “the return of the Korean company Hyundai and the resumption of its work in the project to implement the West Tripoli station with a production capacity of (1,400) megawatts, which has been suspended for 10 years,” considering this “a positive indicator of the return of large companies to work in Libya and contribute to raising the pace of development, and this is what Libya needs in the future.” Nowadays”.

Al-Dabaiba directed, “the necessity of addressing the difficulties and problems facing Korean companies in all sectors, and holding an economic and industrial forum for Korean companies at all levels in Libya in order to create partnerships between the private sectors of the two countries.”

The ambassador expressed his “happiness with Libya’s participation in the Korean-African summit scheduled to be held in June at the level of foreign ministers,” praising “Libya’s support for the Korean candidate for the Human Rights Organization.”
