/ On Thursday, the management of the Student Club denied the news circulating regarding Ahmed Salah’s resignation from coaching the student football team, attributing the reason for the team’s negative results to the decline in the performance of some players.

The club’s secretary, Riyad Mezher, told Agency that the club’s management is surprised by the circulation of such news, indicating that the club is committed to Ahmed Salah until the last moment.

He pointed out that the defect in the negative results of the club team’s results is some of the players and their declining performance and their failure to give as they should on the field, and not Ahmed Salah, who is making a great effort to restore the team and put it on the path to competition and victories.

Mezher also confirmed that the management and coach are waiting for the winter transfers to make a major change in the ranks of the players, and gave Ahmed Salah absolute freedom to choose his players, especially since the current players were not of his choice.

He explained that the administration does not want Ahmed Salah for the first team only, but rather gives him the powers to build the club’s football and create a base that will support the first team in the future, pointing out that Ahmed Salah “has a good mentality and possesses a high level of training thought.”

The club secretary indicated that the government’s four billion grant will give the club a good leeway to pay off debts and whitewash them completely, as well as attract high-level players in the winter transfers.

The Al-Talaba team tied 0-0 with Karbala in the tenth round, and also tied 0-0 with the bottom of the league, Naft Al-Wasat, in the ninth round, and is currently in sixth place with 15 points.
