Joe Roberts was fourth, just ahead of Manuel Gonzalezwho secured fifth place on the last lap of the race after overtaking the local driver, Barry Baltus (6th). They rounded out the top 10 Sam Lowes (7º), Ai Ogura (8º), Somkiat Chantra (9th) and Tony Arbolino (10th), who loses the overall leadership in Silverstone.
The worked podium of Pedro Acosta now places him in front of the Moto2 general standings with 156 points, two more than Arbolino (2nd 154p). Jake Dixon, who went to the ground in the early stages of the test after being hit by Darryn Binder, is third (104p), followed by Canet (4th 96p.) and Alonso López (5th 92p.).
