Alfons Schuhbeck: Star chef will be released from prison, soon to be released?

by time news

Alfons Schuhbeck has been serving his sentence behind bars for a good six months – and everyday prison life could already be a lot more pleasant for the star chef:

According to information from the BILD newspaper, there is currently a very specific easing measure for the former television chef: “Exit rule” – and another relief in prison could soon be available: release!

What does it depend on whether Schuhbeck will soon be able to go outside regularly?

Everything has to work now!

There are several steps in preparing for release regulations, all of which have to go well.

Only if the current easing measures with an exit once a month and your short prison leave work well, Schuhbeck could be eligible for the so-called release, in which he could even do a job during the day and only have to go back to prison after work.

But according to BILD, it’s not that time yet.

Convicted of tax evasion

The star chef was sentenced to three years and two months in prison last year for tax evasion amounting to millions.

One thing was clear: How long Schuhbeck will actually have to stay in prison is not necessarily certain. As a rule, if the inmate has served two thirds of his sentence, the rest can be suspended.
